The time is now…

Just a quick post to let you know what i’ve been up to.

You might have noticed that I haven’t made a post for a week or so… but not without reason.

You see, Prior to all this I was involved in CPA. I remember when PPC costs were so low that you practically could loose in the CPA arena – every offer seemed to be a winner. All you had to do was set up an Adwords account and bid on a few broad keywords, loosely related to your offer.

But hey, times have changed and it’s now much harder to make a decent return. It goes without saying that the higher the PPC cost, the harder it is to make a campaign profitable.

However, I’m a man with a plan. So, due to the rising cost of PPC  I decided to try and find alternative methods of promoting CPA offers – this lead me to take a look at cell phone marketing. The idea is you place PPC adds on cell phones, and more importantly the iphone. When someone uses their iphone to search the internet your add appears at the top of the screen, if they like what they see then they click, pretty simple stuff.

Smart phones have opened up a whole new method of promotion and at a drastically lower cost than traditional PPC. The whole concept pretty much works in the same way just with a lot less hassle. For example, The PPC provider I use allows me to direct link to a CPA offer (Google would have a fit if I tried to do this with Adwords), and all for about 3 cents a click! – When was the last time you saw PPC prices that low?

I definitely think this is an area that will be explored in much greater detail by internet marketers over the coming years. The growing number of smart phone users is too big to simply be ignored.

So what I’ve decided to do is document the whole process of setting up a cell phone PPC account, Getting approved by a CPA network and putting a profitable campaign together.   I’m then gonna GIVE the the manual away to anyone who wants to move into the cell phone ppc market – no strings attached.

So thats the reason why I haven’t made a post for a while, I’ve been busy putting together all the information for my new guide. There’s never been a better time to move into cell phone marketing  and It’s never been this easy to get started!
